CAT6 wire cable comes in the bundle of pairs of copper wire that shows the Category 6 Which is defined by the EIA or TIA. The Cat 6 can transmit voice information and data at a speed up to 155 megabits per seconds. CAT6 restricts crosstalk, noise and system static. There are two purpose of using it, that one is straight through connection which helps to connect computer ethernet port to switches or computer ethernet port to hubs. And second one is crossover connection that can connect any two computer without using hub. RJ45 CAT6 pinout is the same type of CAT 6 cable but the application is very different.
The CAT6 pinout for straight through connection is defined as, there are two standards for wiring in which, one is TIA stands for Telecommunications Industries Association and second one is EIA stands for Electronic Industries Association. You can follow any of the two wiring standard TIA/EIA-568-A or TIA/EIA-568-B. You will have to follow one standard only and continue with all the time without changing to the another standard.
There are few straight through applications for the RJ45 CAT6 pinout that follow TIA/EIA-568-A standard. The green/ white color coded wire will place into pin 1 which is wiring end of RJ-45 connector. Again RJ45 plugs are inserted into RJ45 socket on the ports of hubs and computers. The green wire will place into pin 2,he blue wire into pin 4 and orange/white into pin 3 to the RJ45 connector. And next orange into pin 6, blue/white wire placed into pin 5,brown/white into pin 7 and brown wire into pin 8 of the RJ45 connector. On the another cable end, will follow same sequence corresponding to the RJ45 connector.
